Doing what you like is freedom, liking what you do is happiness. – Sudha Murty
Meaning of this Quote
All of us get so stressed out and burdened with things that are put on us, maybe due to situations, that we have already forgotten to live life. We become freaked out of work pressure, family issues and relationships that we remain tensed and irritated all throughout the day yet manage to cope up with all of them some way or the other.
Life happens, and things will be put upon us, but don’t let them be the reasons for your misery. We often get into a job, and we tend to remain satisfied with all that we have got! We call it to be “freedom” but is it really so? It is important to understand that you do what you like and call yourself to be independent.
Definitely, you are not dependent on anyone for anything, but did you ever think that there are times when we continue a job or a relationship just because we have once been up for it. We tend to neglect our happiness in the process. Rather, we just keep on doing that just because we had started it once. It is never easy to walk away from things, but at times, you ought to do it for the fact that you deserve happiness.
On the other hand, when you follow your passion and you like the way you are going on, things seem rosy to you. Yeah, they might not be the best for the rest, but they are certainly the best you could have ever done. At the end of the day, you must be happy and contented with what you do!
People around you might be successful enough, but they are not always happy. This is because they lacked the confidence to walk away from disheartening things when they needed to! People who have followed their passion without bothering about the rest of the world have always found happiness in the long run.
