Know the difference between being patient and wasting your time. – Anonymous
Things don’t happen just as you want. They don’t even occur in the time you want them to happen. At times, you would require to remain patient while at the other times; you just keep on sitting idle and waiting for something miraculous to occur.
However, there’s a fine line difference between the two. You should have the ability to distinguish between the facts so that you get to know the situations when you should be waiting and the situations when you shouldn’t be waiting.
It is amazing to have patience, but at the same time, you should be aware of when to hold patience and when to let it go. At times, you need to take a stand instead of remaining silent and patient. This is because if you do not do so, you won’t be able to reach the peak you have always been admiring of!
There would be situations when you will be asked to hold your patience and hope for the better. That’s totally fine! However, there is another aspect to the flip side of the coin.
You must have that awareness to determine whether you are waiting in an expectation for something better to take place, or you are just waiting and wasting your time. If the latter happens to you, I would rather suggest you give it a thought and buckle up your shoes.
You cannot let the time pass by, and you could have done something worthwhile in that span of time. It is you who can decide what’s right for you and if waiting is worth it, do wait.
Know that a moment once gone will never come back to you. Hence, you cannot even take a single day for granted. You should make full use of each and every moment that is given to you and make the best use of it.
Life happens only once, and it is none other than you who will be able to decide whether or not it is worth spending that way!
