Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people. – Eleanor Roosevelt

Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people. - Eleanor Roosevelt

When we meet people in a social gathering, we always tend to look for a person with the same mentality and wavelength as ours. We want to meet people who are just like us because those are the people to whom we can talk to. Those are the people who will always be there, who will talk just what you want to discuss.

And, no matter where you are, or if you want many people or none in a gathering, if you want to make friends, you will always get someone with your wavelength to talk with. Now when two people meet, what will they talk about? They will talk about things that they both have interests in, right?

Here this quote meant to say: The great minds when they come together will talk about their greatest ideas. They will talk about changing the world with incredible ideas that might provide food to everyone, clothing to the needful, and education to everyone.

Then there will be average minded people who will discuss the different events they may have witnessed. They will talk about the topics which are happening around the world or similar current affairs.

Then there will be people with small minds, and they will be talking about how bad the other people are, and how they are doing nothing in their lives… gossiping, etc.

Therefore, no matter where you are and whom you are surrounded with, you may always find people of this nature. Now it is your choice what you want the topic of your conversation to be.
