A good friend is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have. – Irish Proverb
Meaning of this Quote
Just as a four-leaf clover is hard to find, in the same way, it is never easy to have a good friend. All of us might have friends, but there would only be a few among us who have good friends in their lives. Having a good friend is just like having a luck that is “one in a billion”.
We often have friends whom we hang out with, or share our food with, right? However, it is indeed very difficult to have someone whom we can trust as well. That’s really rare. It is hard to find such friends who come without any condition and share the little secrets of our lives very eagerly.
They are the ones we can always cling onto, no matter what! Even when we are angry, they are the people we can’t resist talking to! They are the ones we share everything with and it is not just one-sided, the response comes from the other end as well.
A person who has got such kinds of people in life are often called as ‘lucky’. Don’t you think they are? Not everyone is so damn lucky to have such friends. We often tend to have a lot of people by our side when we are doing good in our lives. Yet, the scene gets exactly the opposite when we are in our lows.
A real friend won’t do so! A real friend will always be there to give you company and support you to grow better. He/she will be the person to motivate you when you lose all the hopes in life. Those friends would help you stand and walk again and one who has such a friend is just like “Winnie The Pooh and Piglet”.
