Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile. - Albert Einstein

All of us, if not, most of us actually live a life that is surrounded by our own selfish reasons and wishes. It is important to understand that we can be happy on a temporary basis on such grounds, but the real reasons of happiness are only when we live for others.

The amount of happiness that you will be able to achieve by purchasing that branded clothes for yourself will never be able to match the amount of happiness in seeing the small stray kids smiling on offering a day’s meal. One should learn to live life for the sake of others instead of being happy for their own reasons.

A life that you lead for others is a life worthwhile. It is never about living a great and luxurious life that will actually contribute to making you happy but at the same time, it is how you serve others that will become your reasons for happiness over the time.

You should try to contribute as much as possible for others. Find reasons of making others happy. Not everyone can do that, but a person who does that will eventually succeed in life in the long run.

Your own selfishness can give you temporary satisfaction for your achievements but anything, if achieved by stealing others’ happiness, will lead you nowhere other than your self-destruction. The day you start to live by seeing the people around you happy, you will automatically learn to be happy in your own terms.
