Tibetan Proverbs

The secret of living well and longer is: eat half, walk double, laugh triple and love without measure. – Tibetan Proverb

If you truly want to live healthily and have a longer life, there are certain rules that you must be abiding by! Living healthy is as important as living longer since you cannot live long, and keep on suffering all through the years.

Therefore, if you actually want to spend a good and happy life, you ought to follow certain instructions. Make sure that you are eating half, which means that you should not consume till your neck and start bloating all day. That doesn’t either mean that you should be starving yourself.

Eat half, and walk double, which means that you should take part in physical activities and keep walking. Do more physical exercises, which means that you should burn out more than the calorie count you took in. This will strengthen you right from the core, thereby making you more energetic and active.

You should laugh triple, which means that you should be happy, always! You should not succumb in sorrow as that will hinder both your physical and mental health. Laugh out loud, and try to be happy all the time.

There will be several situations in life that won’t turn in your favor, but despite every hurdle, you must be able to overcome all of them and stay being contented all the time. This will not fill you with happiness but also spread good vibes among people around you.

In the same way, you should love without measure. Love people a lot, and do that without any bound. When you love someone, do that unconditionally.

Be there beside the ones you love and take care of them, as much as you can. Life will not give you repeated chances to love people around. You should, therefore, love people till the time you live.

Remember that we have just one life, and it is solely upon us how we would want to spend it. Try to love people as much as you can! Assure them about your presence and help them grow along with you. Take care of their physical and mental well being as well.
