You should not have the goal to be better than anyone else in this world but to be better than your own self. You need to understand that you are not competing with everyone around you, but with yourself.

If you think yourself to just become better than the other person, you will not be able to explore your full potential. You will only go as long as that makes you better from other people.

However, that also creates a feeling of jealousy which is indeed something you would never prefer to own. Hence, in order to be better, you ought to compete with yourself.

You should be able to understand your potential and to reach beyond that! Try to analyze your capabilities and work upon improving yourself every single day. You are well aware of the fact that how far did you walk yesterday, try to push your limit a little more the next day.

In this way, you will get to know how far you can actually keep walking. Try to beat yourself every single day, as that will polish and nurture you. You should know your inner self and work upon enhancing your skills every day.

When you keep on working just to improve yourself, you start getting the answers to your own questions. You start eradicating every self-doubt that you had within you so far. You gather confidence in yourself, and that will eventually drag you towards success.

Remember that you may cheat everyone in this world but not yourself. In the same way, keep on working till you become the best version of yourself.
