Go for it now. The future is promised to no one. – Wayne Dyer
Just as the old adage says, “Live in the present“, it is important to understand the value of your present time and spend it wisely. Most of us either waste our precious time by thinking about our past, something that we no longer have control upon nor can we go back and change or worrying about the future – again, something that is promised to none.
It is essential to realize that there’s no point in regretting about the past since it is the time that you have already lost and no matter how much you try or put efforts into, you cannot get all the similar things back ever again! Thus, it would be a rather wise decision to accept what has already happened and adapt yourself with the changing time.
On the other hand, a lot of us keep on worrying about the future, which is again useless. Who knows what’s there to happen tomorrow? The future is never promised to you and thus, thinking of it in advance is of no worth. A lot of things may change tomorrow, and you never know that the plan you are making for your future today may not even fit when you actually reach that time.
Circumstances shall change, and one would need to act according to the given situations. When you do not know the upcoming situations, how can you decide things from now itself? All you can do is to wait till tomorrow so as to decide what to be done then.
Once you are at present, live right there without being bothered about any other thing, and only when your future becomes your present, you can chalk out your actions. A person who can adapt to changes really fast gets fit into this “survival of the fittest” contest that’s constantly going around us.
