Helen Keller

Helen Keller was an American author, lecturer and political activist. She was an inspiration to the specially-abled community of the world. She was the first blind and deaf person to get a degree in Bachelor of Arts.

She has inspired many during her lifetime and still continues to do so because of the exemplary courage that she had shown in her works. She was intelligent, had very high ambition and devoted her life in order to help those in need.

Through her thoughts and beliefs, she has communicated how people should never lose hope no matter what comes your way and take the challenge head-on.

“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light”. This is one of the profound Helen Keller Quotes. Here, she wants to convey that relationships in life are very important.

Though it is important to be independent, one must value relationships for they provide support when needed. In dark times, a friend can be a blessing that we can count on. But you can never experience the same warmth if you are alone even in the good times.

Another Helen Keller Quote says, “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence “. Here, she is talking about positive energy and hope that helps us move forward in life.

If we keep contemplating and worrying about the future, then we will lose the present which is very important too. If you want to achieve something, be hopeful about it and work towards that with confidence. Only then will you be satisfied and have no regrets about the past.

It is impeccable that even after facing such difficulties in life, she has remained so positive about her future. Many of us do not face such extreme problems but we still feel hopeless.

We should take inspiration from what Helen Keller has said, whenever we want a burst of positivity in our lives.
