The past is always there to help us look back at our mistakes. Yes, we can always look back to our old days to set a reminder for our own selves about all the mistakes that we have done in the past so that we are not making them all over again.
The main purpose of the past is to make sure that we have a fair understanding of the mistakes that we have done so that we can figure out the reasons for which things didn’t work out in our favor earlier.
It is also meant to ensure that we are learning lessons from those mistakes so much so that we are not repeating those same things all over again.
Consequently, when we have the past to teach us lessons, it is quite important to note that we are not repeating the same mistakes all over again. We must be learning from each and every mistake and thus, take our experiences from them so that things are not being repeated any further.
Our past was more like an opportunity for us to go for a hit and trial so that we can see what all mistakes we have done and the reasons for which things didn’t work out earlier.
However, that does not necessarily mean that we are going to have the same ones ahead in our life.
Life can give us options just once and it is not going to provide us with such a privilege again and again. Hence, the sooner we get to learn, the better it is!

However, when it is said that the past is always going to serve us as a teacher, we should consequently try to understand that there is no point nagging about anything for just no reason.
We must grab as many things as we can from our past and thus, try to make the best use of it in the future.
We cannot go on repeating the same mistakes in the future, isn’t it? Thus, we should always be aware of the mistakes that we have made earlier so that we can figure out the solutions in a different way this time.
