Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. - Confucius

When we are discouraged, it’s only because we had been suffering from certain kinds of discontentment. We often get unsatisfied only when we have set some expectations and we fail to meet them.

There are times when you will not be able to meet your goal but you ought to handle the situation wisely. You need to understand that many times, things will not happen as you want them to be!

Discontentment comes only when we have set some expectations that are high enough, so much so that you end up not being able to meet them. It is important to let go off these things. A person who suffers from discontentment often gets into self-doubt but that’s not how you should take up the situation.

Instead, you should learn to believe in yourself and in your abilities. Even when something didn’t happen according to your wish or the way you have thought it, learn to take things sportingly.

As we get into this cycle of disappointment over a short period of time, we get succumbed in self-pity and that’s when we start to lack confidence in ourselves. Disappointment can put you in certain situations when you feel low. However, if you interpret the situations in the right way, you can get even better!

All you need is a bit of polishing and you will eventually become the best version of yourself. Try to take criticism in a sporting way. Victory does not lie in the number of times you have failed in your life, it depends on the number of times when you rose and stood back after failure.
