If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old. - Peter F. Drucker

Change is the only constant in life. We keep moving on through the different phases in life. Each phase, when new comes as a challenge but then we settle into it and create our own comfort zone. As life proceeds, we again move on to the next phase, and the cycle repeats.

But this change might not be very easy for all of us. In every phase of life, we make new relationships. Some of it gets carried forward while we leave behind some. This affects us emotionally.

However, we must remember that this is how life pans put for everyone. If we do not move on then we will not achieve our goals. Therefore, whenever we make the quest to attain something in life, we have to let go of the old.

This also applies to our professional life, where when we want to start doing something new, we have to let go of something old that we have been doing. This is because time, which is one of the most important and precious resources, is scarce.

Also attempting new things require dedication and generally takes us towards something new. Thus, we should not let leaving behind something to affect us so much that it deters further progress. We must always strive to move ahead in life and make the best of the time we have.

For that fulfillment, we must do what it takes to achieve what we want. Once we get that satisfaction of achievement, we will realize that what once felt very hard was essential and brought you where you are. It made your life-enriching.
