When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. When life is bitter, say thank you and grow. – Shauna Niequist
People should understand the fact that our life will never be a bed of roses, and it is no cakewalk. Life is actually a process or journey. We should try to enjoy our lives and live it to the fullest because we get this life only for once.
In a closer shot of life, you will understand that life is actually a crisscross of dark and light-colored threads. The dark-colored threads depict sadness or melancholy, whereas, the lighter ones represent fortune or good experiences.
Everything that we experience is just a good or bad memory and nothing else. Just because there is sadness, we give importance and value happiness so much. Similarly, light has its own meaning only because of the presence of darkness.
Light and darkness are not opposite words because, in a positive aspect, we can consider darkness as the absence of light. People should understand the basic fact that life is meant to be lived and not just complained about.
We should love life and believe in it. When things go downhill for us, we should take the required time to analyze what went wrong and try again with experience. There is nothing good or bad in life because some incidents teach us beautiful lessons, while some make us able to value or understand the essence and existence of our lives.
In our bad times, we also learn how to cope up with stress and discomfort. Remember that no situation is permanent, and things will change soon. Patience is an important key in determining the height of your success because patience will help you to stay calm and composed in stressful conditions.
All eminent people have advised others to stay calm in situations of trouble and constantly look for solutions instead of complaining about their ill luck. The depth of your struggle today will actually determine the height of your success tomorrow.
There is a famous old saying which says that a river cuts through a rock not because of its power but because of its persistence. This means that we must make constant efforts in striving to achieve the highest degree of success by constantly pushing our limits. Remember that sunshine and darkness are both needed for a plant to grow.
