I agree, it often becomes difficult for a lot of us to come out of the past and try to focus on things that are meant for none other than us.

Your past may tap on your shoulder repeatedly, but that does not necessarily mean that you’ll have to look back all the time.

All that matters is your focus upon the work you are doing currently and your zeal to reach up to the peak of success.

Know that life is full of ups and downs, and you will probably have to meet with a lot of uncertainties all the time. Your old thoughts might hover you all the time, but make sure that you are not allowing them to control your present by any chance.

The past may go on haunting you a lot of times, but it is none other than you who would have to put the efforts and try to get out of it.

You must be capable of understanding that all that you have in hand currently is your “present” and thus, you must work upon making it the best possible as you can.

Therefore, do not just go on looking back all the time, let it be at your past. Focus upon today, and try to make your present the best version of all that you can.

Of course, it is good to take lessons from your past, but know that your present will eventually help you pave your future. It is how you are dealing with your present that will help you build a better future for yourself down the years to come.
