Happiness lies in compassion and that’s something very true. It is important to be compassionate to others. Real happiness lies only when we try to experience the feelings of others. We should stand alongside others from joy to sorrow. Although this seems to be very simple, not everyone has the mindset to do so.

It isn’t easy to keep one’s own words by staying beside our acquaintances when they need and only a person who has got a good heart will do so! A lot of people feel that happiness is meant for our own sake but that shouldn’t be the case. Real happiness is only when we can devote ourselves to others.

It is essential to practice compassion and that’s where happiness resides. It is not about the materialistic pleasures that we own that makes us happy. Rather, it is when we do something good for others that makes us happy in the true sense.

Do you think that happiness is when you purchase something yourself with your first salary? No, it isn’t! It is good to do something for ourselves. Instead, it is when you gift your family members and near and dear ones with that money that makes you happy. This kind of happiness lies in our contentment and satisfaction that we get to see by witnessing that smiling curve on their faces.

Compassion doesn’t only mean to help others but it is a different kind of feeling altogether. It is not just your way of helping those who are in need but at the same time, it will boost your bond with them. When you earn good, try to dedicate a small segment of it for others. Helping the people in need will bring your inner peace alive!

At the same time, it is essential to understand that compassion is both innate as well as learned. Definitely, compassion is a quality that lies from within but at the same time, one can enhance this ideology. It is compassion that deepens our emotions and helps us do even better!
