The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation. - Dalai Lama

All of us do things in our lives but it feels really wonderful when we receive an appreciation. It is a different kind of feeling altogether. Many times, we feel tedious about a job and it’s basically because we do not get the required amount of recognition that we should have received for it.

The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation. It makes us feel really good when we hear good about ourselves. Appreciation and recognition serve to be the best motivators for almost anyone. It is somewhat because of the appreciation that we get to become better each day.

Appreciation is that doze which is responsible for boosting us every day for improvement. When we do good, we expect at least some ‘good’ in return. If we fail to receive a token of appreciation, we will lack in motivation and we would automatically start to lag behind.

Remember the last time you have worn this t-shirt or the dress and someone has really praised you for you looked really stunning in it and you then decided to wear it too often than you usually do!

It is essential to realize that there are times when we lack confidence in ourselves and that’s where appreciation comes into the picture. Once we get the appraisal, we feel more energetic to keep doing so with even greater enthusiasm.

Appreciation does not always come in the form of rewards or money, it may also be in the form of some good words or just a gesture. We all love to get ourselves praised and thus, appreciation is the soil for it. Appreciation is the soil for the root that in turn, encourages us to do even better!
